Grace Givers May 10, 2010

Good morning,
Wasn’t Sunday wonderful! Even though I wasn’t able to be there as Ben shared I felt as if I was there! Such a joy to have the hearts and insights of so many people! To Anita – our “angel among us”- who shared her gift of making cookies and the story behind it. To Deb who reminded us that the frayed, torn scraps of our life were what God used to make the beautiful quilt! To James who affirmed the mission of One Morgan County. To Pastor Ben who wove it all together and challenged us to be grace-givers to the world! To target others with the focused love of God… taking frayed, torn scraps of “fabric” and being a part of God’s grace to others so that it can be made into a beautiful “quilt” in their life!
God has placed gifts inside each of us – unique to us- with His desire for those gifts to flow thru us with the love of the Father! Touching the world! Blessing others in Jesus Name! Making our world more like heaven on earth! Turning scraps into beautiful quilts!
On your way, from beginning to end, be a grace-giver! And as we do we will feel His pleasure!
This week may His grace flow through you as you are on your way!
I’d love to hear your thoughts or your God stories about grace moments you’ve experienced or observed on your way… our everyday- just- walking thru life- way … or about your “scraps” becoming a “quilt”.
Till Sunday,
Brenda
